Advisory Boards and Commissions Zoning Board of Appeals Various issues that do not meet the standards of the Zoning Ordinance are taken to the Zoning Board of Appeals. Staff advisors are provided by the Corporation Counsel's Office and Community Development Department. The Zoning Board of Appeals is a final hearing body, with only specific types of appeals requiring action by the Mayor and Board of Trustees.
